Veteran's Park
Located on the River Raisin and the River Raisin Heritage Trail, this park boasts plentiful picnic areas, graceful shade trees, war memorials, play areas, swings, restrooms, picnic shelters, shore fishing access, and several small parking areas. An accessible path through the park connects to the trail for biking and walking.
The River Raisin Legacy Project removed the low head dams and installed a fish passage that also serves as a place to portage canoes and kayaks, opening the River Raisin passage all the way to Dundee. Benches provide a scenic view of one of the most beautiful spots on the river.
