Tax Incentives: Commercial Rehabilitation District
Commercial Rehabilitation Exemption Certificates provide property tax abatement to owners of certain rehabilitated commercial facilities in designated districts by freezing its pre-rehabilitated taxable value for 1-10 years. Land and most personal property are not eligible for a Commercial Rehabilitation tax exemption.
This exemption requires a petition to City Council to create a Commercial Rehabilitation district.
