Communications

The City of Monroe's Office of Communications is the external communications hub from which information is disseminated to residents, businesses and the media on City initiatives, programs, events, projects, and other important affairs. Staff coordinate, plan, promote, and deliver public information through the organization's communication channels.

Written and visual communications which include: public relations, press releases, social media, advertising, marketing campaigns, graphic design, video production, print publications, media relations and other public information projects. The department also provides marketing and advertising support to City divisions and programs and serves as the liaison with non-profit public access groups (MPACT).
