With amenities like a historic downtown along the banks of the River Raisin to Michigan's only port located on Lake Erie, the City of Monroe is home to a diverse business community ranging from large international corporations to entrepreneurial small businesses. Working with federal, state and local partners, the City's knowledgeable and experienced economic development staff proactively works with businesses and residents to offer a higher quality of life and success.
