River Raisin Legacy Project Master Plan Community Meeting
We want to hear from you! All ages welcome!
The City of Monroe's Commission on the Environment and Water Quality (COTE) is working together to create a master plan for the River Raisin!
Help us prioritize community needs and ensure enduring protection, stewardship, and engagement with the River Raisin by sharing your ideas about water quality, access and stewardship.
Please consider joining any of the three public engagement meetings what will be occurring in 2025!
The first meeting will take place:
Thursday, January 23rd
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
St Paul United Methodist Church
201 S Monroe Street
Light refreshments served, advanced registration appreciated and linked below.
The meetings will be a wonderful space to share information about the river, help others understand what the river means to you, and learn how organizations are working to protect it for future generations.
The master plan will be designed to help continue these efforts into the future, outlining a long-term vision for the River Raisin by focusing on four categories critical to protecting the river: Community, Education, Environment, and Equity/inclusion.
