Warming Centers

Very cold weather is expected this week. Temperatures and wind chills may be dangerous. Residents are encouraged to limit time outdoors and avoid long exposure to the cold.

Several warming centers are open throughout Monroe County. The Monroe County Health Department has provided a complete list of locations.

Warming Centers within the City of Monroe

The following sites are open as warming centers:

•  Dorsch Memorial Branch Library
•  Monroe Family YMCA
•  Opportunity Center at the ALCC
•  Salvation Army Campus of Hope
