The City of Monroe is excited to partner with several local businesses and organizations to hold the third annual Christmas Magic in Monroe event! This year, Mayor Robert E. Clark will be the Grand Marshal of the parade along with Junior Grand Marshals 2019 Miss Monroe County Madalyn Poupard and Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen Madison McElvany.
Presented by the Monroe News, the event will take place Saturday evening, December 14th from 3 PM to 9 PM in and around Loranger Square at the corner of Washington and E. First Streets in historic downtown Monroe. This year, the parade will start on Front Street right by Knights of Columbus and The Monroe News, and end at our Winter Wonderland on Washington Street.
Winter Wonderland activities such as Santa’s Pavilion, ice skating, living nativity and carriage rides will be held in and around the Square. This is a free event to the community, with the support of many sponsors.
