K9 HERO PLUSH
Meet Our Newest Community Helpers — Monroe’s K9 Hero Plush - inspired by real-life City of Monroe Public Safety K9s, Apollo and Buddy!
The K9 Hero Plush Program is a collaboration between the Monroe Public Safety Department and the
Kiwanis Club of Monroe. Each plush replica serves as a comforting companion for children experiencing crisis situations during interactions with the
Monroe Public Safety Department.
These comforting companions play an essential role in helping our most vulnerable community members
navigate difficult and stressful moments. A small gesture can make a big difference.
To sustain this initiative, the Kiwanis Club of Monroe will lead fundraising and local sales of the plush toys. Proceeds will help fund the purchase of more plush companions for children in crisis, free of charge.
You can also bring home one of these K9 Hero Plush for yourself or a loved one. When you purchase a plush, you keep the dog, and your full purchase goes directly to the Kiwanis Club of Monroe to help sustain and grow this program for the future. Your support helps make sure we can continue providing comfort to the children who need it most.
K9 Hero Plush will be available for purchase through the Kiwanis Club of Monroe:

Checks may be made out to Kiwanis Club of Monroe and Venmo is accepted. Direct sales will also be available at select community events — quantities are limited!!!!
