.Join us in Loranger Square for the annual Monroe Hometown Tree Lighting!
N E W T H I S Y E A R! - Featuring 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑽𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆𝒕!
Event runs from 4:00PM to 9:00PM. Tree will be lit at 7pm sharp!
Activities include:
• Vintage Market vendors (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
• Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus in the Childrens' Activities Area (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
• Live Reindeer (5:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
• Horse and wagon rides (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
• Live Nativity courtesy of Heritage Baptist Church (5:00 PM - 8:30 PM)
• Children's Activities and Games courtesy of the Monroe Family YMCA, Monroe County Great Start Collaborative, Monroe County Intermediate School District, Monroe County Library System Dorsch Library and the Monroe County Museum System. (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
• Food Trucks (4:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
• Christmas Carols and Music!
Stop in at the Monroe County Museum for a festive holiday display!
The Sawyer Homestead will also be open and decked out for the holidays with free tours!
Join us at the Tree Lighting as we kick off Monroe's Hometown Holiday Lights! Building on the tradition of the annual Tree Lighting, a new holiday light sculpture will be unveiled annually at the event! Hometown Holiday Lights collaborates with local individuals, businesses and corporations to add holiday lighting elements and displays to bring the spirit of the season to Downtown Monroe.
