Winter tax bills for City of Monroe residents have been mailed.  Winter taxes are due Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Payments can be made via our secure online payment service, secure drop box located in the parking lot adjacent to City Hall, snail mail postmarked by February 14th, 2024, or in-person at the Treasurer's Office.

Winter tax bills are sent out annually at the beginning of December and are due February 14th. After that date, a 3% penalty is added to any delinquent taxes and is applied to the winter bill.  Unpaid taxes are then turned over to the Monroe County Treasurer in March. The City of Monroe cannot accept property tax payments after the delinquent property tax has been turned over to the County.
